Police say the brothers called 911, with the dispatcher noting, “Having cardiac arrest, CPR is in progress.” EMS attempted to perform life-saving measures for an extended period before they called the time of death.

The police report noted that Zach was very emotional while EMS was working on Hayden, but Brian did not become emotional until EMS declared her officially deceased. Afterward, investigators say Brian showed officers the bag of medication Hayden was currently taking.
